Establish Method in The Occlusal Plane After Intrusion of Upper Molars Considered with The Jaw Movement in Harmony.

Abstract

The bigger amount of upper molar impaction was achieved by use of mini-screw compared with conventional appliance. Recently, many case reports which was accomplished the impaction of upper molars amount of over 5-mm were showed. But, it is that we perform intrusion of maxillary molar namely to make a maxillary occlusal plane newly. In other words, as for the important thing, is newly occlusal plane we established by the intrusion of upper molars may get harmony in morphologically and functionally or not. It was already not important which how millimeters we can perform to intrude upper molars. We can use lateral cephalometric analysis to make a judgement in morphometrogically, but only lateral cephalogram is not enough to analyze in functionally.
I’d like to consider the limit of upper molar impaction from the viewpoint which establishes the jaw movement in harmony.
